Sliding scale is a tool for economic justice. We offer sliding scale prices in order to make our health and wellness support accessible. We do not offer products in the Green Shop on a sliding scale. Please give according to your capacity.

BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & people of color), queer & trans folks, and people experiencing low income due to serious health challenges or other reasons are prioritized in this effort.

Here are some guidelines to help you determine your placement on the sliding scale:

  • If you do not struggle to meet basic everyday needs or encounter systemic oppression, please consider paying at the top of the scale.

  • If you are able to pay at the top of the scale, it creates more opportunity for us to provide support to those with financial barriers. The top of the scale is the actual cost of all offerings.

  • If you are able to cover basic needs like rent & food with money left over for “wants” each month, access a savings, are on health insurance through a job or family, own a house and/or car, etc. it is recommended that you pay either on the higher end or the actual cost.

By paying for these services to the best of your abilities you are ensuring that I have my basic needs met and are helping others less financially resourced access our offerings.
